OURMedia Network [Red Nuestros Medios - Nos Médias - Nosso Media] is a global network of scholars and practitioners working since 2001 in the areas of alternative, community, and citizens' media. The Network has around 500 members in over 40 countries. The OURMedia Network 7th International Conference took place in Accra, Ghana from August 11-15, 2008. We are planning for the 8th International Conference in Bogotá, Colombia, July 13-19, 2009.

OURMedia member marches in Colombia

English: OURMedia member Jeremías Tunubalá is initiating a massive march with his Misak (Guambiano) community in Colombia. You may remember Jeremías as one of the presenters in OURMedia 4 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The Misak community is joining a massive indigenous demonstration convened by the Nasa community in Southern Colombia.
